Solstice traditions: Tree decorating

Never thought Afrikan-centred folks decorated trees for the winter solstice or Christmas/Ka-Rast Mass? Well think again.  It’s a tradition that some look forward to each & every year.  If you’re considering doing the same you may want to employ green practices ie. using a tree/hedge in your yard. Why not reuse the same  lights and decorations each year? Or have 2-3 sets so you can alternate them from year to year.   Love tree lighting parties? Alright now! Don’t hesitate to have your own.
